What would happen if there was no more water in the small village of Raddusch in the middle of the Spreewald?

Climate change and structural transformations are raising critical questions for the future of the Spreewald. All the reason for artists and scientists from various disciplines to search for answers together with residents in Raddusch. Through storytelling, performances and multimedia works, this festival invites further participation and exploration of these complex questions.

Join workshops, follow audio walks and discover surprising installations inspired by the special setting and imaginary cube placed onto the natural harbour with the dimensions 10 x 10 x 10 meters.

The festival is organized by artists from the fields of theater, sound and set design as well as scientists from the Humboldt University Berlin (HU), the Technical University Berlin (TU) and the Free University Berlin (FU). It is a cooperation of the theater collective AnthroposEx  and the project AnthropoScenes and is funded by the Berlin University Alliance within the framework of the Excellence Strategy of the German federal and state governments.

It features works by Julia Ihls, Marius Probst, Jonas Dahm, Diane Barbé, Klemens Czurda, Sven Bühler, Camila Ivana Vargas Pardo, Omar Sherif, Desirée Hetzel, Zora Ritz, Patricia Usée, Manfred Kliche, Steven Lehmann, Maximilian Grünewald, Pauline Münch and Julian O’Swald.

Directions:  The journey from Berlin (Alexanderplatz) takes just over an hour by RE2. The last train back leaves at 23:19.
